Throughout May, we have dedicated the month to our Blessed Mother Mary. We have prayed the Hail Mary each day, prayed the Rosary with our parishioners, sang special hymns to our Lady and Crowned her at a special Mass. Mary is the Queen of Heaven. This is a very old tradition which is kept very much alive in Thornaby!

Bishop Terry came to visit us today. He visited all of the classrooms and spoke to us all.
He also presented two special awards- CAFOD’s Live Simply Award and the Oscar Romero Award.
These are awarded to schools who evidence that they complete lots of work to help the most vulnerable in society.
